During our trip to Costa Rica during February 2022 we stayed at a small villa 20 miles west of La Fortuna. It was a beautiful Vrbo rental. All of us had a great time. It is located on the back side (north) of the Arenal Volcano in the rain forest. We had to use a 4-wheel drive vehicle to take what our host called the cow path up to the villa.
